Immediate replacement of fractured front tooth

Have you had a fall when a child that damaged your front teeth? This lady had had a fall when young, and 40 years later, her front tooth cracked in two out of the blue. A prominent tooth in her smile, and due to health conditions, was not keen on retaining her tooth in a non-vital state with root canal therapy. The options of titanium or zirconia dental implant were discussed, and due to the high aesthetic demand, we chose to have a zirconia all-ceramic implant. A Cone beam CT image was used to plan the immediate placement of a Z-System Z5C immediate one-piece implant. A temporary crown and splint were placed, and a final crown was placed after six months. She is thrilled with her new tooth and loves smiling again.
