People often relate to the fact that I’m a holistic dentist, but they don’t realise that I do a lot of cosmetic work as well, and we use the best technicians in Brisbane to achieve the best results with the least amount of damage to your teeth. I’d like just show you this technique that we’re using at the moment. If somebody comes in and they don’t like their smile, or their teeth are chipped or crooked, then we can take impressions of their teeth either by doing a scan with a digital scanner or taking old fashion models of their teeth.
And I’ve got a case here where we did just that. So we’ve got a model of the top teeth and a model of the bottom teeth and how it bites together. And we would take photographs of you as well with your smile. Then these pictures would be sent to our technician. He would digitally scan these models with a 3D scanner and then translate that image onto a computer screen and design the perfect shape of the smile that suits not only your teeth but your smile in balance with your whole face.
With that digital workup, he then is able to send me a little template that will exactly fit over your teeth so that you will be able to see your perfect smile and literally you would just be able to try it in. And you will be able to have a look in the mirror and see whether you love it or not. And then if you want us to move forward, then without barely touching these teeth, we’re able to achieve this optimal smile and a very happy patient.
