I am passionate about holistic dentistry and passionate about giving my patients a metal free advanced dental solution. This means traveling the world to really find the best material and equipment.
This machine is a Sirona Cerec machine, its from Germany, but it is also available in Australia. For Ceramic dental implant training I’ve had to travel to New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany to learn this new advanced technology.
This only fuels my passion for biological holistic dentistry.
People often say to me, why are you a holistic dentist?
I have been a dentist for 30 years, and qualifying from Kings College London, in a traditional dental model. I became enlightened quite early to a holistic approach, where looking at the risk factors with health and mercury amalgam… this was one of the first things.
And when I came over to Australia I was able to take on a Fellowship in Nutritional and Environmental medicine FACNEM(Dent) and that was 20 years ago.
So since then, having owned this holistic practice and having the background knowledge of nutritional and environmental medicine to complement each other….I really feeI I can integrate a lot of the principles of natural health and integrative medicine into the running of my dental practice and treating patients as a whole person and not just a tooth.
And that’s become my passion, and I am still passionate about treating each patient individually and finding out where their original issues have arisen, and working from there to aim to get them optimally healthy.
Not only optimally dentally healthy, but working in a team with integrated doctors and naturopaths etc. so that we can guide them in their way, in their journey to optimal health, or as optimal healthy as they can get.
